Resolved Question: TV Show "I Didn't Know I was Pregnant"?

It's a new SERIES on the Discovery Health channel: http://health.discovery.com/tv/i-didnt-know-i-was-pregnant/about.html The reason I capitalized "series" is because each episode has 4 womens' stories, so that must mean that this isn't all that uncommon, right? I watched 3 episodes yesterday and almost all the women a.) had irregular periods and thought nothing of a missed cycle, b.) tested negative on HPT's and blood tests, and c.) Didn't have ANY pregnancy symptoms and gained a max of 10 lbs. It was actually a little depressing because a few of them were on birth control and had monthly bleeding and no idea they were pregnant... and here we are TTC lol. Most disturbing to me was that almost every woman realized when the baby was crowning what was going on and STOOD UP to give birth... 3 of the babies hit their heads on the floor and one went flying into the toilet (lol). Resolved Question: Did anyone see Embarrassing Bodies Channel 4 Programme on wednesday 1st July?!?

I am pretty annoyed, they showed a woman who was near 60, saying that she feels her boobs have sagged/deflated and her nipple is too high. When you actually saw them they were pretty damn amazing, something I could only dream of. She also stated she has had a reduction when younger. I could not see anything wrong with her breasts what so ever and Im sure even a young twenty something would want the pair she has got. Anyway my point is that it was agreed she could have this operation/solution injected to make them perkier and she would have quite a few of these treatments. Im not sure if its at the nhs cost but Im still annoyed, I was expecting the doctor to say that actually there was very little wrong with her boobs, but they didnt, and Im annoyed that a nearly 60 year old is complaining about something that is pretty stupid in the first place when theres nothing actually wrong and she needs to look at other womens boobs before she moans about her own. Just made me mad that time was wasted and im sure its made other ppl feel bad about there own cos they dont look like that!! Yet there was apparantly something wrong with them?! So, my grandpa is turning 70 and my mom wants to do something special. Well, my grandpa is a sports fanatic. My papa would watch any game, bowling, fishing, football, womens tennis, any sport. But Baseball and football are his favorites. He could watch baseball, and he could tell you what will happen before it happens. (I'm not exagerating at all) So, my mom was hoping to have his birthday announced, at an Indians game. You know, on the STO Nework. But, she doesn't know how. Does anyone know how? i was a watching the biejing olympics on tv the other day, they were showing bits and parts from the summer olympics (don't worry i'm not totally behind lol) and it was the womens gymnastics, i was wondering if one event goes on at a time or more than one? and if yes, how does a television broadcasting company film it all live if there's two events at the same time? and also, why is it that only certain countries are in each sport? when i was watching it was only china romania usa and russia gymnasts competing and that's all the tv channel was covering.. the progress of these girls only i saw in the background some other gymnasts doing other things on the other apparatuses, which is what i'm asking about in my first question thanks!  more

Resolved Question: If I shave my knuckles, will I type faster?

I was watching a show on the cable network today and the swimmer guy had a shaved everything. His head, chest, privates, legs, and head were all shaved. Even his chest and privates! He said it makes him swim faster and move faster in the water when swimming in the water. I am a realy slow typer, so I want to improve how I type because I am so slow. If I shave my knuckles, will it help? Do I need to shave my arms too? I hope not because the womens like my arms. Resolved Question: Is another all-Williams final in womens' tennis bad for the game?

Do people really want to see that? Do you think people will actually watch it if that happens? Don't know about anyone else, but I would love to see someone new win it. I'm rooting for Dinara Safina. She's a fighter. I liker her attitude. I feel like people are getting defensive about the Williams sisters. Of course they are great and are playing brilliantly at the moment. I'm not saying they are bad. I'm just wondering if it is bad for the popularity of the game. It's not their fault of course, they should be playing to the best of their ability (which they are). I think it's lack of new blood to be honest... cvo - Actually, no I'm not insinuating that the worst players should be getting into finals. But, maybe it might deter the average viewer from actually watching the match because it's the same thing year after year. I know how good the Williams' are and they deserve to win. I know they may be both cheap watches, but this is all I can afford right now($40-60) I just wanted a simple chronograph watch. Open Question: How to tell if your husband is cheating or not.?

I have been married to my husband for 20 years and we have had our ups and downs just like everyone else. Yesterday a package came in the mail addressed to him with the name Candi and a heart for the return address so I opened it and to my shock what I found inside made me stop breathing-womens lacy underwear with a strong scent of perfume with a note saying "Something to remember me by can't wait until I see you again." What do I do here? Do I approach him? Do I watch him? Help me!! I love him with all my heart and soul and it would definately kill me if something was going on! It isn't odd that I open his mail. I open all the mail. He never has delt with the mail. I don't see where he would actually have time to do anything with anyone because he goes to work and comes straight home. He usually calls me when he is heading home. In the past I have had women trying to say they had something going but I never had any reason to dought his denial. But I have never had someones underwear arrive in the mail. I don't feel bad for opening his mail but I definately need to know if there is anything going on and how in the world does he find time. I've been watching the highlights of some of the women's games at Wimbledon and have had to turn over because the grunting in some of the games has been so annoying. No sexist rants here please! I cant see a good reason these days why the womens game is only 3 sets and the mens is 5 sets. The physical differences between male and female players in terms of size and power is getting less and less and personally I think a 5 set match has a much better pace as a spectator and ,I suspect, as a player. All my female tennis watching friends agree too and I hear that some of the female players are keen to get it changed. So what do you think people. Any reason to keep it how it is? Agree? I recently just had a beautiful baby girl in which i had a stable place also everything i needed for her not to mention good parenting skills, But a lady from healthy beginnings called children youth on me for no reason so now they came out of no where with a statement that i am a endangerment to my daughter and took her away from me when i was in the hospital of womens and babies. So now i am not able to watch her grow up. These people work on destroying other peoples lives not to mention this is my first baby. so warning to all to be mothers do not go to healthy begginnings because they will get children youth to take away your babies. Voting Question: Haunted House, Or, have I finally lost my mind?

Ok, so here's the beef. My boyfriend moved into a new house with his family about two weeks ago. Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely home. Only, every time I go into it, or even think about his new home, I get this eerier feeling. And, I know it could just be my imagination running wild on me, but come on people, it's called a womens intution! lol. Something isn't right. Now here's the creepy part. I've told my boyfrined that his house gives me the heebie-jebbies, and no, i'm not going to avoid it, and I understand, his dad isn't going to leave because of my "feeling" But, he dosn't believe me. He dosn;t "feel" anything. But see, he swears up and down that the house he just moved out of was haunted by 3 ghosts. I never saw them, and never felt threatend, or had that bad feeling that I have over his new home. But I did allways feel like someone was watching me, but that it was ok. And like I said before, womens intuition, I know he isn't pulling my leg over his old home being haunted becase I know when he is lying. We were there this afternoon, and after I left, I called him, and he claimed that the spirits were acting up. I would just like to know why I feel like something happend in his new home, and if for some reason it did, how do i figure it out? Also, if this helps, when he was showing me around the house, we went to the basement, and OMG creepy, it was a beautiful full bar, and checkerd print. My friend and I were watching this movie tonight, and there was a scene that struck us as funny in a way. There was this yacht with the bad guys on it, and a couple of women on board who were obviously sleeping with the main bad guy. One of the unimportant bad guys was always perving and grabbing the women, and had threatened one of the women that he would do more to her some day. Anyway, he falls overboard into the water which is full of sharks. The camera angle is from below, and a shark swims up from under the guy and you can clearly see that it attacks the guy between his legs. The next scene showed his head above water and he was screaming. Then another shark comes in and grabs him. The next shot showed the two women looking over the side of the yacht, and they both had this smug smile on their faces. You could still hear the guy screaming in the background. One woman looked at the other and said "Good!" to which the other says "Let's leave him", and they both laughed. They continue to watch as the man is obviously eaten, though the camera remains on the women who continue to smile smugly. First question; what is the point of this scene and the womens reaction? Resolved Question: Interesting debate - fathers rights on abortion and free choice?

I was watching dr.phil the other day and I must say it did make me think about mens rights and how sometimes our rights as women completely effect the mens rights as fathers. Regardless if your pro life or pro choice, the law is what it is, a women has the option of abortion, we also get the choice to give it up for adoption and sign away our rights or to keep it. Men however really get no say, if I wanted an abortion there is not a damn thing my husband could do about it, if it was the other way and the man got to decide the fate of our unborn child and he opted for abortion when I wanted to keep the baby, I would be devastated and appaled, as most women would be. There was a guy who got a girl pregnant, they were using contraceptives and it failed, he didnt want anything to do with the pregnancy or child and wanted to sign away his rights, but he isnt allowed to do that, he has to pay child support, but if the woman had decided to sign away her rights she would be scot free, no obligations or consquences, it'd be over, no debate. I completely understand that the child is the true victim in all of it. However it does seem lopsided to allow women to completely give the child up and relinquish all rights for whatever reason and not allow the man to do the same. I do undertsand with the whole abortion debate that it's in the womens body so it's her choice, but flip the tables just for argument sake and imagine years down the road when men can carry babies and imagine your unborn child being carried by your man and he decides to get an abortion, and there is not a thing you can do. The body belongs to the man, true, but doesnt the baby belong to both of you? I dont know a solution to the problem, I suppose take it case by case, there is im sure, clear cut cases where most would agree upon a desicion (rape, abuse etc). I am curious how others feel about this, especially women, have they thought about if the tables were reversed or thought twice about the mens rights as fathers? BTW - this is not an abortion debate, it's hopefully a mature point maker on fathers rights in all aspects. Jill - I completely agree with you, I believe before an unwanted pregnancy occurs, conversations need to be had. and then an educated choice I always thought men could relinquish their rights as well, but on dr.phil the male was trapped he had no choice but to pay up, he didnt want anything to do with the kid, so im sure he would have signed over rights if it was an option.  more

Alright, this is a little "GaGa speech" so if you don't want to read it all, then just answer the question. I am asking this question because I was watching TV, and saw a man on there, screaming about how women were horrible creatures and that they should all just wipe off the Earth and leave men alone. I for one, am sick and tired of men thinking women are just things that they can throw around like a rag doll. They don't understand that we have feelings too. We aren't play toys. Men don't realize how EASY they have it. Okay men, look at all these things women have to do and have to deal with that you don't. Boobs--Almost every man (except the gay men) love boobs. But they don't understand how uncomfortable they're to live with. They flop around, they sag, and no matter what you try to do, they're right there and you can't get rid of them. They're a pain in the a s s to sleep with, and they get extremely sore and tender. Plus bra shopping can be a riot. Pregnancy--It takes 2 people to make a child. All men have to do is have sex and enjoy it. Women however, have to go through the puking in the morning, doctor trips, getting fat, carrying a big heavy baby in their body for almost a year, and then going through that blinding pain at birth. Periods--Oh lord, where do I begin? Cramps. The aching, horrible pain of the cramps! You literally feel like there's something trapped inside the bottom of your stomach, and it's slowly clawing it's way out. I hate how guys laugh at things like tampons and pads. It's not f*cking funny. I had someone throw a tampon at my head, then burst out laughing. Ugh. Etc--Men usually don't care about womens feelings. Like during sex, a man will just shove a woman down and won't stop even when she tells them too. They take advantage of us! Men always also want us to look pretty and skinny 24/7. I mean, I could care less what people think about me. But I'm tired of men saying things like "Cut your hair, you look like a rodent" or something like that, and thinking its funny. Alright. That felt really good to get off my chest. I'm sorry if I offended any of you men, but I just wanted to state my opinion. I know you're going to scream at me saying things like "Well all women want is for us to have big penis's and huge abs!" Uhh, yeah. I get that.
